Hannah was amazing, outstanding and marvelous! Living in a world where customer service gets judged harshly for everything they do or say, I knew that I must take this review. This hotel was amazing and deserves five stars please be polite to this amazing staff of hard workers.
We travel a lot. We stay in a lot of hotels. I can confidently say we have never stayed at a hotel that was cleaner and had more friendly staff than this hotel. We have been here about a week. Front desk workers talk to us like family and the manager was beyond helpful and professional. We will stay here next time we visit Troy, Ohio for sure.
So far I'm currently staying here work related. As an old housekeeper, I understand rooms can't be perfectly spotless with loads of rooms to do in a day/understaffed. Only thing in my room is a little bit of soap gunk on one of the shower shelves and if I want to nitpick a crumb on my chair...I'm not picky. Otherwise, really great compared to other places! Smells clean, there's a public gym, the pool is closed down for maintenance not a big deal on my end. Seth and Hannah that I've spoken to so far have been very awesome, helpful, and polite to talk with. Complimentary coffee and breakfast!

Pretty typical HI Express or other biz traveler hotel. Reception was prompt and pleasant. The room spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options. I'm still holding out hope for the return of Carbon's Golden Malted waffles. The pancake machine is surely cleaner, but it is gimmicky and the pancakes are mediocre at best. Not this locations fault. Having a Boujee Aldi across the parking lot means the microwave in the room is all you need.
I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Troy Ohio before. Each time has been a very good experience. They have a very good breakfast area and breakfast included with the state at the Holiday Inn Express. I plan to stay at the Holiday Inn Express on future trips to Troy.
Location was convenient-right off the highway. Bed and accommodations were comfortable. Breakfast variety was good! They also offer free coffee and water and had a cute hot cocoa bar set up for guests! The hotel is in need of some updates, but overall was a clean, comfortable stay!
